The Carlinville High School Cheerleaders were hard at work June 17, selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts. In just two and a half hours, the team sold all 350 boxes of doughnuts raising $5,600. The money will go toward a variety of cheer-related expenses throughout the year including cheer camp, poms, and uniforms.

The team is made of 24 cheerleaders who have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming football and basketball seasons. They will also be attending the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Cheer Camp in July.

The team says they are looking forward to seeing the community again on 62626 Day, selling their “Cavie Cooler” drinks suitable for kids and adults. You can find them at the Taste of Carlinville section with other food vendors.
