Carlinville Defenders earn Championship during GMB Tournament
The Carlinville Defenders pictured left to right is Reid Bouillon, Rex Watkins, Ollie Donaldson, Kroix Hutson, Mason Karl, Zeke Watkins, Jake Perkins, Caleb Mulch, Logan Hilgendorf, Dylan Huff, and Aidan Lyons. The boys are coached by Kelly Hutson, Jordan Donaldson, Jesiah Watkins, and Joe Perkins.
The Carlinville Defenders played in the Greater Midwest Baseball (GMB) Tournament held at Glazebrook Park in Godfrey, IL on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31. The boys scored 43 runs and only allowed 5 runs in 4 games to earn their championship rings! Kroix Hutson was selected as the tournament MVP after hitting an out of the park home run.
