Southeast Corner of Square Closed

Panda Chinese Restaurant had some bricks fall on the outside wall of the building on February 1 in the alley on Hoch Street closing the restaurant until repairs are made.

The southeast corner of the square in Carlinville is closed until further notice to parking and foot traffic, due to unexpected maintenance required by local authorities at Panda Chinese Restaurant.

According to a statement issued by Panda Chinese Restaurant, it will be temporarily closed until further notice and their family and staff are all safe.

According to a statement issued by Carlinville Fire Protection District, the area has been secured and all nearby property owners have been contacted. There have been no injuries and the department asks that the public stays away from the area until repairs can be made. More information to come next week.
