Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics 2026 Auxiliary Scholarships

At the May 12th meeting of the Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics Auxiliary, scholarships were presented to four graduating seniors from Macoupin area high schools.

Since 2016, the auxiliary has awarded  students scholarships based on written essay applications.

Each applicant must provide an essay as to why they have chosen a medical field for their career path. This year, 28 applications were submitted making the decision very difficult. Thank you to Karen Lanzerotte, Rhonda Priest and Janet Steiner for being on the selection committee and making that important decision.

To date, there has been $26,000 distributed and every high school has had at least one recipient.

This year’s scholarship winners are:

Alyssa Aubuschon – Mt Olive

Maci Timpe – Southwestern

Paris Johnson – Staunton

Rori Allen – Carlinville

Rori will be attending SIUE, while Alyssa will be attending SLU.
