Carlinville school board recognizes “Straight A” students

The Carlinville Board of Education recognized the “Straight A” students of the 2024-25 school year prior to its regular August meeting in the Carlinville High School media center. Each student in attendance received a certificate for their achievement.

The Carlinville Board of Education recognized the “Straight A” students of the 2024-25 school year prior to its regular August meeting in the Carlinville High School media center.

Each student in attendance received a certificate for their achievement.

Last year’s “straight A” freshmen were Douglas Aikin, Keegan Anderson, Mary Behme, Natalie Bowman, Cameron Cooper, Hadley Dugan, Peyton Elvidge, Braigha Maberry, Charles Matthews, August Smith and Joel White.

Sophomores were Isabella Alepra, Catherine DeLong, Charlee Dugger, Danielle Furness, Michael Kaganich, Ridge Regan, Piper Rives, Gabrielle Stoops and Avery Troutwine.

Brendon Atterberry, Taylor Brandenburg, Elyse Eldred, Riley Owsley, Bailey Rodgers and Hannah Truax were last year’s junior honorees.

The departing senior class featured Alyssa Beck, Sophia Campbell, Matthew Eldred, Hannah Gibson, Mason Gilpin, Victorine Harrington, Weston Kuykendall, Lillian McCurley, Kassidy Michaels, Brendon Mosby, Chloe Pope, Joanna Roemer, Gurveer Singh, Deven Utry, Samuel Wilson and Braley Wiser.
