COUNTRY Financial Grandstand Unveiled at Fairgrounds

COUNTRY Financial and the Macoupin County Fair Board officially unveiled the newly named COUNTRY Financial Grandstand during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, June 5, at the fairgrounds. The day was also designated as ‘COUNTRY Financial Friday’ at the fair.

Founded by farmers for farmers more than 100 years ago, COUNTRY Financial is the largest farm insurer in Illinois. Company representatives said the sponsorship reflects the organization’s continued support of agriculture and community events such as the Macoupin County Fair.

“The Macoupin County Fair Board is just an absolute first class organization, and for us to  partner together really illustrates how important farm life is, protecting farm life, and the community of Macoupin County. That’s really the core of what we do,” says JR Earley, District Leader of COUNTRY Financial. “Every time I drive by here since it got put up, I get goose bumps. It’s an awesome partnership.” Earley also thanked representatives from the Macoupin County Farm Bureau for being at the ribbon cutting, a reflection of the organizations’ shared commitment to supporting agriculture in Macoupin County.

The Macoupin County Fair  is one of the largest events of the year, bringing agriculture and family fun to the community.
