Imagine! Rural Arts is planning on hosting their annual Art Fest on September 26. They would like to reserve the inside of the square. The Art Fest will feature art vendors, food trucks, free art opportunities, a face painter, live musicians and more.

New Business

Carlinville wastewater treatment plant needs to have their existing boiler retrofited with a new burner. The Board approved the bid from Henson Robinson Company for $24,806.00 which includes labor, material and equipment.

The Board approved the bid from Electrico for $38,642.76 for the repairs to the stop lights by Wal-Mart on the Shipman Blacktop and Loveless Parkway. The City signed an agreement with Wal-Mart that the City would maintain these stop lights. The stop lights will receive a new auto scope video detection system.
