Boomer Celebration To Be Held Saturday

The “Boomer Celebration” is just two days away. On January 24th Steve Boente’s Band, Cinco Sin Nombre, will perform at the Elks’ Lodge in Carlinville.  Doors open at 6:00 pm and the band starts at 7:00 and ends about 10:00.

Do you have your tickets yet? No?? Well, do not worry because there are no tickets. What?? Yes, the music and refreshments are FREE!! Did I say FREE? Yes, the Boomer Celebration Committee is providing a FREE dance hall with a FREE dance band playing Baby Boomer music and providing FREE snacks (popcorn, pretzels, bar mix, cookies) and soft drinks this coming Saturday. But there will be a cash bar, open throughout the event.

Yes, this will be a FREE “Boomer Celebration” with one of the best live bands in the area, featuring some of the most talented musicians assembled in Macoupin County. The name of the band is Cinco Sin Nombre (Five Without a Name).
