Michael Kent Dugger

Michael Kent “Mikey” Dugger 61, of Modesto passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025.

He was born on Dec. 15, 1963 in Jacksonville, the son of Robert “Red” Dugger and Clara Vivian Clark Dugger.

He was a carpenter and worked at Trusslater in Virden for over 20 years.

He loved playing pool on Tuesdays with his buddies, fishing, hunting, Budweiser and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his spouse for more than 25 years, Lisa Kelley; daughters, McKennzi, McKennah (Scott McAdams) Dugger, Jaden Dugger, stepson, Jeremy (Malesha) Kelley; granddaughter, Brystle Kelley; grandson, Dalton Megginson; his bonus daughter, Hope (Braden) Shilling; bonus grandchildren, Penelope and Kennedy Moore, Lee Shilling; sisters, Tracy (Billy) Wiser, Marsha (Mark) Ruebling; brothers, Terry Clark, Larry (Sherry) Clark, several nieces, nephews; his best friend for over 60 years, Harold Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Dugger; close friends, Randy Null, Larry Stouffe, Brian McNeely and Jerry Emery.

The family will host a Celebration of Mikey’s Life from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Palmyra Municipal Building in Palmyra.
