Carlinville High School Musical ‘Mean Girls’ to open March 21

The Carlinville High School All-School Musical is set to premier one week from now. The students, teachers, staff and volunteers have been hard at work putting together a show for the community to enjoy.
Carlinville’s take on Mean Girls: High School Version, will premiere on Fri. March 21 at the Carlinville High School Gym at 7 p.m. The show will run on Friday and Saturday night.
Hannah Truax plays main character Cady Heron and Maggie Phelps is Regina George. Juliann Amos and Lucas Wieties are Janis Sarkisian and Damian Hubbard, respectively. Other members of “The Plastics” are Catherine DeLong as Gretchen Weiners and Emily Barbre as Karen Smith.
The show is directed by Michael Morrison and assistant director Madi Whittington.
