Amber M. Mitchell

Amber M. Mitchell, 17, and her father passed away in a car crash on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 in Oak Ridge, TN.

Amber was born April 25, 2007 and was welcomed and adopted into the Mitchell family when she was 18 months old.

She was a senior at Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge, TN. and involved with the Drama Club.

Amber was employed at Food City Supermarket as a cashier.

She had a happy personality and had planned to attend Roane State Community College and go on to East Tennessee State University.

Amber and Alan had a special bond.

Amber is survived by her mother, Connie Mitchell, maternal grandparents, Jim and Judy Hamock and Michael Williams; aunts Janet Kessinger, Peggy Wade both of Carlinville and Joanne Krueger of Vandalia.

Funeral services for Alan and Amber were held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 in Oak Ridge, TN.

Memorials may be made out to 1st Baptist Church and sent to Connie Mitchell, 232 Park Meade Pl, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
