  Last weekend, the Staunton Storm 10u travel softball team topped off a successful year with a championship victory. The Storm girls won three out of four tournaments they competed in this year while adding a runner-up. The Storm finished with an overall record of 32-11. Photo contributed.

  On June 23, the Force Elite travel softball team, featuring Hannah and Hallie Gibson of Carlinville High School, placed runner-up at the national Top Gun Gateway Showcase.
