CHS student council hosts second annual Students vs. Faculty basketball game

The second annual Students vs. Faculty basketball game, hosted by the Carlinville High School student council, was a huge success.

A huge crowd turned out to see a classic showdown, in which the students won by two points.

This event was organized as a fundraiser to benefit the district’s Rock The Block, Project 3rd Day and Lunch Bunch, to which several hundred dollars of the raised proceeds will be donated.

Prior to the game, a mostaccioli dinner was held in the cafeteria to raise additional funds for the CHS Post-Prom.

In other related news, the CHS student council recently volunteered to assist Project Third Day and is also planning a Spring Spirit Week with dress-up days and other fun activities.

The CHS student council would like to thank all of the students, faculty and staff, fans, and businesses in town who contributed to the fundraiser.
