Sandy D. Cramer

 

Sandy D. (Ross) Cramer, 67, born in Edinburg, on Sept. 8, 1957 to Harry and Llewellyn (Shartzer) Ross.

She married Terry McMillen, deceased, in 1989 and Douglas E. Cramer in 2004 who survived.

Sandy graduated from Greenfield High School in 1977.

She worked for the Carlinville School district for 28 years, where she loved each student and faculty she came across, which was evident whenever she would see any of them in public even years after her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Teri Jean Smith of Carlinville; grandchildren, Kyle Drake of Tampa, FL, Samantha Drake of Washington, MO, Alexa Grayce Smith of Carlinville; very special friend, Jr. and Carol Hardwick of Greenfield; sisters, Cheryl Conner of Florida, Phyllis (Marvin) Turner of Jacksonville, Arlene (Marvin) Kirchner of Greenfield; brother, Tony (Sandy) Ross of TX; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Hudson of Carlinville, April McMillen of Carlinville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-parents, Earl and Pauline Bailey; first husband, Terry McMillen; step-daughter, Krista Kirchner; sister, Zelda Malone; brother, Dale Shartzer; brothers-in-law, Bill Hudson, Bill Wisely, John McMillen, Ronnie McMillen; in-laws, Verle and Caroline Childerson, Vernon and Alberta McMillen; special friends, Skid and Hazel Walden.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville.

Memorials may be made to the Family for funeral expenses and may be mailed to Davis-Anderson Funeral Home P.O. Box 135.
