Michael Lyn Bruhn

Michael Lyn Bruhn, 68, of Gillespie, IL, passed away at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center, Gillespie, IL on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11:45 pm.

He was born August 30, 1957, in Staunton, IL to William C. Bruhn and Sharlene Faye Long Bruhn.

He worked for Georgia Pacific.

Michael enjoyed working on cars especially his 1971 Chevelle SS and motorcycles and was a St. Louis Cardinal Fan.

He is survived by his brother, William J. (Vickie) Bruhn Sr. of Gillespie, IL; aunts, Cindy (Ed) Saracco, Melba (Phil) Bangert, Connie Long; uncle, Gilbert (Cindy) Wilde; nephews, Matt, Ryan, Seth, Billy; niece, Rachel; several great nieces; great nephews and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curt Bruhn and uncle, Joe Long.
