Carlinville Girls Basketball Wins One, Loses One

The Carlinville girls basketball team won once and lost once last week.

Carlinville defeated Riverton 55-25 last Monday.

Carlinville led 10-3 after a quarter. Carlinville outscored Riverton 16-11 in the second quarter to take a 26-14 halftime lead. Carlinville outscored Riverton 25-4 to take a 51-18 lead after three quarters. Riverton outscored Carlinville 7-4 in the final quarter for Carlinville to come away with the 30-point win.

Ruthie Reels had 30 points, Addy Jines had 10 points, Paige Roberts and Addison Starr each had four points, Lexie O’Brien had three points and Sylvee Gibbs and Blakely Swan each had two points.
