Patricia R. Dunn

Patricia R. Dunn, 94, of Chesterfield, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025.

She was born Dec. 11, 1930, in Grand Rapids, MI to Marion C. Allen and Muriel G. Dill Allen.

She married Merle D. Dunn.  He preceded her in death in 2013.

She was owner of Alton Rural Cafe along with her husband.

Patricia enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening and liked to read, listen to music and work on jig saw puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Denzil A (Susan) Dunn of Novelty, MO, Dianna (Evan) Hensley of Colorado Springs, CO, Donna Dunn of Chesterfield, Michael K (Peggy) Dunn of Chesterfield, Alice (Larry) Harms of Carmi, Loretta R. Killian of Carlinville, David L (Jane) Dunn of Carlinville, Matthew C. (Melanie) Dunn of Carlinville; grandchildren, Jennifer Gambil, Jeff Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Jessica Sells, Denzil Dunn Jr, Tara Smalling, Judy Barton, Aubrey Ferguson, Nathan Hensley, Chris Dunn, Shane Dunn, Daniel Dunn, Randy Striplin, Joshua Harms, Crystal Lewis, Jonathan Davis, Craig Davis, Laura Smith, Laura Green, Cody Dunn, Lucas Dunn, Andrew Dunn, Alex Dunn, Emily Ondrey, Zach Dunn; 51 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sisters, Claudine Evans of Springfield and Nina Powers of Fenton, MO.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; spouse;  daughter, Peggy Richardson.
