Thomas “Tate” Fellin

Thomas “Tate” Fellin, 67, of Gillespie, passed away at Springfield Memorial Hospital, Springfield, on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 at 7:55 pm.

He was born Oct. 6, 1957, in Litchfield, to Adolph W. Fellin and Lucille Retoff Fellin Tallman.

Thomas enjoyed fishing, music, and sports.

He is survived by his siblings, Joseph (Jan) Fellin of Waterloo, Pat Fellin of Benld, Tim Fellin of Gillespie, Joan (Ron) Bertolino of Gillespie, Mariann Fellin Reynolds of Benld; several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; step father, William Tallman; sister, Judy Strother and niece, Jackie Anson.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at SS Simon & Jude Church in Gillespie. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie.
