Dorothy Rose Bausano

Dorothy Rose Bausano, 92, of Gillespie, passed away at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 8:10 p.m.

She was born May 8, 1931, in Gillespie, to Peter Bausano and Josephine Rolando Bausano.

She was a retired secretary.

Dorothy was a member of the SS Simon and Jude Altar Society.

She is survived by nephews, Ken Bausano, John Martin; nieces, Theresa Jarden, Joan Heyen, Mary Seward, JoAnn Ingrum; sister in law, Pat Bausano of Gillespie and several cousins.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Louis Bausano; sister, Lorraine “Dolly” Martin and a brother in infancy.
Services were held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at SS Simon & Jude Church in Gillespie.  Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie.
