Carlinville Chamber hosts Excellence in Business Awards

The Carlinville Community Chamber of Commerce held its Excellence in Business Chamber Awards on Jan. 18 at the Reno’s Pizzeria banquet hall.

Awards were given to several deserving individuals and businesses.

Main Street Bridal won the Transformation Award after a re-design of the store by new owner Rachel Hammann.

The Rustic Venues by Fat Albert’s BBQ won the New Business Award.

Richard Oswald with State Farm Insurance won the Outstanding Service Award.

Heinz Furniture and CNB Bank and Trust were recognized for being in business for 170 years in 2024.

The Carlinville Public Library won the Organization of the Year Award.

A Viral Social Media Award went to Crowe Boot and Shoe, Main Street Florist, My Sister’s Closet, Heinz Furniture, OOAK, Brave Hazel, Main Street Bridal and Collected Boutique.

Brian Burnside, CEO of Carlinville Area Hospital and Clinics was awarded the Person of the Year.

Main Street Florist won the award for Business of the Year.
