Lisa Ellen Ribble

 

Lisa Ellen Ribble, 57, of Springfield, and formerly of Hettick, passed away on Monday afternoon, Nov. 6,  2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born July 30, 1966 in Carlinville.  Her parents are George V. “Bob” and Mary Ellen Fischer Ribble.

Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Northwestern High School and was caregiver in home health care for many years.

Lisa loved to cook, bake, and was a people person who loved all celebrations.

Surviving is her significant other, Allen Rogers of Springfield; her children, Derek Ribble (Teri) of Bloomington, Ryan Ribble of Hettick, Vanna Williams (Joe) of Arnold, Mo., Brandon Rice (Susan) of Springfield; her parents of Hettick; grandchildren, Gabby, Landon, Miley, Ryker, and Seger; siblings, Leslie Starasta (Michael) of Lincoln, Paul Ribble of Springfield, Beth Duhon (James) of Katy, Tx.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Dean Rice.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 at Stults-Neece Chapel in Palmyra.
