Terry Dale Nance

 

Terry Dale Nance, 62 of Greenfield, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 8, 2023 at his family’s home in Virden.

He was born Oct. 2, 1961, in Carlinville, a son of Raymond and Vivian (Mason) Nance.

Terry attended Girard High School.

Terry worked for Hog, Inc. in Greenfield, for 15 years as a general laborer and enjoyed his time there.

He also enjoyed helping on the Baker farms as an extra farm hand.

Terry was an avid deer hunter and liked being outdoors and enjoying the countryside.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Danny (Angie) Nance of Girard, William Nance of Girard, John (Nina) Nance of Springfield; sisters Lela Eller of Girard, Patty Orr, of  Virden, Vicky (Mike) Nichols, of Girard; several nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kirby, Raymond and Stanley Nance.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, 9 to 11 a.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Oak Wood Cemetery in Greenfield.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
