Lillian June Strubinger

 

Lillian June Strubinger, 91, formerly of Bunker Hill, passed away at River Crossing of Alton on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 8:10 a.m.

She was born July 16, 1931, in Hardwick, VT to Chester Bailey and June Bailey.

She married Glen Strubinger on May 12, 1954 in Nashua, NH.  He passed away on Dec. 23, 2008.

She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Vincelette of West Frankfort, Robin (Chris) Schlobohm of Bunker Hill; sons, Randal (Sharon) Brunet of Chaska, MN, Wayne (Jeannie) Strubinger of Denver, Co, Ron (Dennis Sorenson) Strubinger of Bethalto; grandchildren, Jeff (Penny) Staton, Mark (Mary Ann) Staton, Carl (Vicky Followell) Vincelette Jr, Stephanie (Steve) Heiens, Andrea (Austin Hollaway) Holmes, Michelle (Jeremy) Engebretson, Adam (Amy) Brunet, Joshua (Brandi) Strubinger, Katie (Andrew) Salas and 19 great-grandchildren.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, grandsons, Steve Staton and Brett Holmes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bunker Hill Municipal Building.
