Sheryn “Sherrie” Little

 

Sheryn Lee “Sherrie” Little, 75, of Sawyerville, passed away at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 8:14 a.m.

She was born June 8, 1947, in Arkansas City, KS.

For many years, Sherrie worked retail for Rural King in both Carlinville and Litchfield.  She took great joy and pride in addressing the customers with a smile and hello, and escorting them through the store to retrieve the item they were looking to purchase.  She enjoyed talking to people.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Rachel) Smith of Carlinville; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Gayla) Crites of Gillespie, Jerry (Cindy) Crites of Benld; three nieces; a nephew; six great nieces and six great nephews.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jean Crites; spouse, Larry L. Little and brother, Garrie Crites.

Private family services will be held.
