Roy E. Conlee

 

Roy E. Conlee, 57, of Benld, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.

He was born Dec. 11, 1965, in Carlinville, to Roy Eugene Conlee and Darlene Price Conlee.

He was a truck driver.

Roy enjoyed farm animals and auctions.  He loved his truck, “midnight rider.”

He is survived by his fiancée, Jean  Free of Benld; children, Darlene Conlee of Mount Olive, Roy E. (Kimberly) Conlee Jr. of Virden; 11 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; sibling, Charles E. (Melissa) Conlee of Caulfield, MO, Timothy Conlee of Mulberry Grove, many nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld.

Memorials are suggested to Siteman Cancer Center for Glioblastoma Research.
