Kenneth Ray Lewis

 

Kenneth Ray Lewis, 82 of Carlinville, passed away Monday evening, Dec. 26, 2022, at Carlinville Area Hospital.

Kenneth was born Nov. 3, 1940, in Granite City, a son of Earl and Lillian (Wells) Lewis.

Kenneth attended Granite City High School. He married Anita Justice, Sept. 2, 1999 in Carlinville and she proceeded him in death on Feb. 16, 2005.

Kenneth was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years. He spent much of his time watching westerns and cracking jokes.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Tammy Kay Bender of Carlinville, Jacki Lewis of Girard; sons, Kenny (Stacy) Lewis of Carlinville, John (Brandi) Lewis of Girard; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, Emma, Gabriel, Gwendolyn, Averi, Mason, and Mae.

Private graveside services were held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon.
