Janice Marie Kern

 

Janice Marie Kern, 67, of Gillespie, passed away at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022 at 6:34 p.m.

She was born June 20, 1955 to William E. Hopper and Shirley Jean Logsdon Hopper.

She was a bookkeeper.

Janice adored Bichon dogs.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Clotfelter, of Gillespie, Cole Kern of Gillespie; grandchildren, Demi, Gabe; siblings, Nancy Hopper of Gillespie, William (Jeana) Hopper Jr. of Arkansas, Stephen (Terrie) Bloomfield of Mt Olive; several step siblings; aunts; uncles, nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and step mother, Rose Hopper.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023.
