Rebecca Dae Stark

 

Rebecca “Becky” Dae (Secor) Stark, 73, of Chesterfield, left this Earth to be with her Heavenly Father and other angels on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022.

She was born in Alton, on June 12, 1949, to Walton D. and Norma D. (Jones) Secor.

Becky married Dan Stark in Rosewood Heights, on Sept. 10, 1994.

She graduated from Roxana Sr. High School in 1967.

Becky was a loving Christian and had complete love and faith in her Lord and a deep loving passion for all her family. She had a very sweet loving heart and smile. Becky had a kind word for anyone she met in her life. She loved spending time with all her family, her golden retriever “Tootie”, fishing, being on the pontoon boat at the lake, country music, dancing, mowing the grass, collecting angels, antiques and crafts.

She had worked for a Security Co, McDonnel Douglas, Owens Illinois Glass Works, Help at Home, in the activities department at Eldercare in Alton, as a Physic-social at Elmwood in Maryville, had a home nail shop, and as a bank teller at Chesterfield State Bank in Chesterfield.

Becky is survived by her husband, Dan; brother, Larry Secor of Gillispie; sisters, Pam (Jack) Berry of Alvin, TX and Jodie (Rick) Huebner of Bethalto, Missy (Mark) Maendele of Holiday Shores; a step-son, Craig Stark of Bethalto; nieces and nephews, Lori Pierson, Sheri Copeland, Linda Snyder, Cindy Secor-Brooks, Sean Berry, Todd Berry, Scotty Secor, Bailie Secor-Garvin, Ricky Huebner, Mandie Huebner-Dowling, Morgan Maendele, and Madison Maendele-Tiefenauer; several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in joining the Lord by her parents, Walt and Norma Secor; and a brother, Scott Secor.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. At this time, no services will be held. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto will oversee professional services.
