Merle Neunaber

 

Merle Neunaber, 67, passed away on the Dec. 3, 2022.

He was born June 29, 1955 to Norman and Lois Neunaber.

He spent many hard years working on, and eventually retiring from Burlington Northern R.R. He ultimately moved back near his hometown of Carlinville to Nilwood.

He was known for spider webs and raising hell on just about every pool table he played on. He was a man of continuous flowing ideas and had a gadget for nearly everything. He had great passion for music and hot rod cars.

He is survived by children, Chad Neunaber (Jocelyn Wells), Emily (Neunaber) Lambert; his significant partner, Mary Godin of Papillion, NE; sisters, Connie Neunaber (Bob Billings), Cathy Neunaber, Millie Releford (Rick); grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman & Lois Neunaber and sister, Carol Kraft (John Kraft) of Carlinville.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heinz Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday Dec. 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Carlinville.  Burial will follow at Morrisonville City Cemetery.

Memorials may go to Zion Lutheran Church or Carlinville American Legion.
