William E. Myatt

William E. Myatt, 81, of Maryville, passed away at Elmwood Nursing and Rehab, Maryville, on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 6:59 a.m.

He was born Sept. 13, 1940, in Bunker Hill, to James Lee Myatt and Alta Marie Wooldridge Myatt.

He married Shirley May Spinner Myatt.

He was retired after having been a construction superintendent.

William was a veteran of the US Air Force after having served from 1958-1962.

He is survived by his spouse, Shirley Myatt of Maryville; daughters, Kim Myatt of Maryville, Tammy (Rick) Masters of Collinsville; grandchildren, Kevin (Katie) Buckingham of Edwardsville, Ashley (Andy) Kerr of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Blake Buckingham, Bella Rose Buckingham, Locklyn Kerr, Rowan Kerr; siblings, Deanna “De” (John) Smith of Bunker Hill and Nancy (Mike) Edmiaston of Bethalto.

William was preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel Myatt; daughter, Susan Myatt; brother, Don Myatt and sister, Pat Blanton.

Private family services will be held.
